Ground Control by Form.verk

Your day may be sedentary. Your goals are not.

Ground Control is a 12 week biomechanics focused coaching programme for people who spend much of the day sitting, but whose training and hobbies still demand mobility, strength and physical capacity.

It is built for those who keep losing momentum because recurring pain, restricted movement or an old injury continues to stall their progress.

Six founding places. $1,200 for 12 weeks.

The pattern

You train. You sit. The same problem keeps returning.

Most people arriving here have already done the sensible things. The limitation still comes back.

In the gym

Your lower back takes over during squats, hinges or leg training, and you feel it long before your legs are finished.

Week to week

Hip restriction keeps changing which exercises feel available to you, so the programme you wrote keeps quietly rewriting itself.

The old injury

Something from years ago is no longer acute, and it still shapes what you are willing to load and how you set up for it.

The short fix

Deloading, stretching and swapping exercises help for a while. Then the same limitation returns in the same place.

The pattern

Progress keeps stopping and restarting, even though motivation was never the thing that was missing.

The honest caveat

Sitting is rarely the whole story, and recurring problems do not all share one biomechanical explanation. That is what an assessment is for.

The result

Over 12 weeks, you will measurably improve the movement and training markers connected to your recurring problem so you can return to consistent gym progress without repeatedly working around the same limitation.

Markers are agreed with you at the start, and reassessed formally at days 30, 60 and 90.

The method

Everything is built as one system.

Ground Control starts with how you currently stand, move and train. Your corrective work and gym programme are then built as one system.

The aim is to restore access to movement, strengthen it, and carry it into the training that matters to you, rather than handing you a temporary mobility routine beside an unrelated workout.

Three part progression

Reorient. Occupy. Integrate.

Each stage earns the next.

Stage 01 · Reorient

Reorient

Find a better starting position.

Your assessment identifies the movement options your current pattern restricts. The first stage restores access to the positions that are missing for you.

Stage 02 · Occupy

Occupy

Build the side you cannot fully access.

You learn to shift into and use positions your body currently avoids, then begin carrying that option into more demanding movement.

Stage 03 · Integrate

Integrate

Use both sides without losing either option.

The final stage brings those options into movement and training so the change can hold under the demands of your normal programme.

Progression is based on reassessment, not simply the calendar. Corrective work and gym programming remain integrated throughout.

Messaging hours

Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Thailand time. Messages are answered within one business day.

Coaching calls

A 60 minute results and programme design call to begin, then 45 minutes every two weeks, booked around your schedule.

Reassessment

Formal reassessment at the beginning and around days 30, 60 and 90, against markers agreed with you.

How the remote assessment works

Six steps from application to programme.

  1. Apply and complete a 30 minute fit call.
  2. If accepted, submit three posture photographs and videos of the guided self assessment.
  3. I review the material before meeting with you.
  4. Discuss the findings, goals and training structure on a 60 minute results call.
  5. Receive the integrated corrective and gym programme.
  6. Train, receive support and reassess progress across the 12 weeks.

The coach

Who you would be working with

I am Josh, founder of Form.verk. For years, I dealt with recurring lower back pain that repeatedly interrupted my training. I later sustained a neck injury that further affected how I could train. It was only afterwards, while trying to understand why problems kept appearing in different areas, that I discovered one side of my pelvis sat both higher and farther forward than the other. That lateral pelvic tilt and uneven pelvic position became the first visible clue to a broader full body postural asymmetry extending through my hips, ribcage, shoulders and neck.

That discovery led me into biomechanics. I wanted to understand the relationships between different areas of the body and learn how to choose exercises from what an assessment showed, rather than treating each painful area as an isolated problem.

I began treating my own case as I would a client. I assessed range of motion, recorded a baseline, tested each exercise against the change it produced and rebuilt my gym work around the movement I was trying to restore. Today I lift four times a week, boulder regularly and have not had another lower back injury in several years. I still assess the restrictions that remain, which keeps the process honest.

Ground Control grew from that approach. Every plan begins with assessment, progress is checked through measurable changes and corrective work develops into the gym programme itself. If your presentation falls outside what remote coaching can responsibly support, I will tell you and recommend the appropriate next step.

How the process holds itself accountable

Progress should be visible.

Every programme decision begins with what the assessment finds. Progress is then checked against the markers agreed at the start.

01

Assessment determines exercise selection

What you are given follows from what was found, and the reasoning is shown to you.

02

Corrective work flows into loaded training

The positional work is carried into the gym programme rather than sitting beside it.

03

Reassessment makes progress visible

Formal reassessment at the beginning and around days 30, 60 and 90, against markers agreed with you.

04

Form review shows what is actually happening

Video review checks how the plan is being performed, and not only how it was written.

The conditional guarantee

If your markers have not measurably improved by day 90, I keep coaching you at no additional cost.

Complete the full programme, follow the agreed plan and submit your check ins and reassessments. If the movement and training markers we agree at the beginning have not measurably improved by day 90, I will continue coaching you at no additional cost until they do, or until reassessment indicates that another form of support would be more appropriate.

Full participation conditions are provided before enrolment. This is a promise of measurable improvement for a suitable and participating client. It is not a promise to cure every cause of pain or injury.

Founding investment

Ground Control is available to six founding clients.

$1,200

For 12 weeks

Or three monthly payments of $400.

Apply to find out whether the programme is appropriate for your goals and current situation.

Why application comes first

Ground Control depends on assessment material, consistent participation and regular reassessment. The application and fit call confirm whether the process suits your goals and current situation before any payment is taken.

The six place limit is the real capacity of the first intake.

Questions

Before you apply

Is Ground Control physiotherapy?

No. Ground Control is biomechanics focused coaching and performance support. It assesses how you move, identifies limitations and builds training around them. It does not provide a medical diagnosis and it does not replace necessary medical care. Where a problem needs clinical assessment or hands on treatment, you will be referred.

Can I apply if I am not a man?

Yes. Form.verk speaks primarily to men who sit and lift, because that is who most of the content is written for. Anyone for whom the programme is suitable may apply, and suitability is decided through the application and the fit call.

Do I need access to a gym?

Your programme is built around the equipment you actually have, which is confirmed during the application and intake. Most people on this programme train in a gym, and the loaded stages work best with access to one.

What if I have a diagnosed injury?

Mention it on the application. Some answers trigger a manual review before any call is offered, which is a safety step rather than a rejection. Recent trauma, planned surgery, rapidly worsening symptoms and several other presentations need medical assessment before remote coaching is appropriate, and you will be told that directly.

How much time will the programme require?

The programme is built around the training time you already have. Corrective work is designed to sit inside your existing sessions rather than becoming a second workout. Add a 45 minute coaching call every two weeks, and reassessment at the beginning and around days 30, 60 and 90.

What happens after I apply?

Your application is reviewed for suitability. If Ground Control looks appropriate, you are invited to book a 30 minute fit call. If something in your answers needs closer review first, you will hear back within one business day.

Why is there a fit call before payment?

Because it protects both of us. The call covers what has been affecting your training, what you want to change and whether this process fits what you need. It is a conversation, not an assessment, and there is no obligation to join at the end of it.

What does the guarantee cover?

If you complete the programme, follow the agreed plan and submit your check ins and reassessments, and the markers we agreed at the beginning have not measurably improved by day 90, coaching continues at no additional cost until they do, or until reassessment shows that another form of support would suit you better. Full conditions are provided before you enrol.

Can I pay monthly?

Yes. The programme is USD $1,200 in full, or three monthly payments of $400.

What time zone is coaching delivered from?

Messaging hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Thailand time, and messages are answered within one business day. Calls are booked around your schedule.

Stop rebuilding your training around the same limitation.

Applications are reviewed for suitability before a fit call is offered.
